About Refugee Week
Refugee Week is a time for us to acknowledge and celebrate the amazing contribution that refugees make to Australian society. It is held from 14th to 20th June 2009.
During Refugee Week hundreds of events

will be held across Australia that help us increase our understanding of what it means to be a refugee.
To mark the week, Friends of STARTTS, STARTTS and The Australian Refugee Film Festival are hosting the event that celebrates the cultures, triumphs and talents of asylum seekers, refugees and those that support them. The event is being held in the Uniting Church, Sydney, who are generously lending their support to the celebration.
