Help us raise money to help people
overcome the affects of human rights abuses.
WWW.RAFFLE.ORG.AU is a project set up by Friends of STARTTS (Services Treatment And Rehabilitation for Torture & Trauma Survivors) to raise money for its Australian and overseas projects to help victims overcome the effects of human rights abuses.
One of these projects in October 2008 will bringing people, volunteers and workers from all over the world to educate them how to overcome these gross abuses.
The plan is simple if all work together. We need 1000 people to raise $250 each. In return for your support you will receive a free ticket to the 2008 refugee ball on 11th september and one free charity development course for you or your favourite charity. This site has been set up to make it easier for volunteers and the public to buy and sell raffle tickets in a much more secure and safer way, that allows volunteers to spend less time fundraising and more time helping those that truly need their help.
There are many ways everyone can help. If we all start with buying a few raffle tickets each or donating a small amount and telling a few friends each to do the same we are going to be able to help a lot of people.
