2009 NSW Refugee Humanitarian Awards
Presented by STARTTS & Refugee Council of Australia

The NSW service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Taruma Survivor's (STARTTS) in conjunction with THE REFUGEE COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA (RCOA) present the 2009 NSW Refugee Humanitarian Awards presented in Refugee Week 2009 on the 14th June. The awards are a chance to to acknowledge and thank those who have contributed towards refugee issues.

Australians helping refugee issues
Refugees helping Australian issues
Refugee Youth
Media
Legal
Education
Small Buisness Support
Corporate Support
Health
Sports
Organizations may also be nominated for the prooject of the year.

Award recipients may work with or on behalf of refugees, they may volunteer with refugees, speak out for refugee rights, be the friends or family of reugees or have refugee background themselves that help in the Australian communittees. Anyone who has helped enrich the lives of refugees is eligible.
